Last May, some of the students in the Holy Heart Performing Arts Certificate spoke with Broadway star Petrina Bromley of Come From Away. Petrina kindly offered some of her time before one of her performances in New York via Skype. Students learned about how the Newfoundland actor auditioned for the role, her background as a performer in Newfoundland, and got to ask her questions about Broadway life. Petrina offered great advice on how to chase the Broadway dream through hard work and education. It was a day that will be long remembered around the performing arts program!
First meeting of the year and sign-up is September 13th at 12:30! Great opportunities this year for new and veteran Performing Arts students. This info session is an opportunity to hear about upcoming workshops, auditions, and productions. Come one, come all!
We are super excited to welcome new students into the Holy Heart Performing Arts Certificate! You can join anytime via email or submit the form in person in September.
We’ll have an info session early in September for new students and to welcome back the veterans! Casting calls and position applications will be coming soon!
We have some exciting plans for the certificate this year and looking forward to seeing everyone in the coming weeks!
